SHAUNAGH – FRONT OF HOUSE ADMINISTRATOR / CLASSES & ZONE TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

It was always meant to be that Shaunagh would join the F.1.T Team! Shaunagh is another local team member who has been a past client here at F.1.T, she has also been involved with our Kid’s Sport Camps over the years, being a very popular coach with the kids as they were always impressed with her many skills and energy! We are delighted to bring this energy to the team and expertise. Shaunagh is a professional footballer and has also competed at a national level in gymnastics. We are thrilled to have her teaching classes here at F.1.T and also at the front of house greeting members and clients and completing many important tasks for F.1.T! If you ever have any questions, Shaunagh is always thrilled to have a chat, help and advise in anyway she can. Make sure to check out our timetable to see when Shaunagh is next taking a class!

I am delighted to say that I’ll be working at the front of house here in F.1.T Ballincollig.
I am currently studying Arts in UCC and I have also completed the Coaching and Physical Education course in Coláiste Stiofán Naofa.

I am quite the sports fanatic. I was in a range of different sports when I was younger until I concentrated on gymnastics for a few years before moving onto soccer. I trained and competed with Ballincollig Gymnastics Club at national and international level winning various All-Ireland’s and international titles. then decided to go back to soccer when I was 16 and began playing with Wilton United. I played on both u18 and senior women’s teams. I also featured on Cork teams winning two All-Ireland’s with Cork u18 team and Cork Senior Women’s team. I also won the intermediate cup with Wilton United Senior team. I then signed for Cork City in the women’s national league and got off to a flying start before tearing my ACL which had me sidelined for 15 months. I am now back featuring regularly in the team and I’m loving it.

I am so excited to meet all new and existing members as they come through the doors at F.1.T. I believe that I am a really friendly and approachable person so don’t be afraid to come say hi to me if you see me at the desk
