“I feel it is important to enjoy your training and to make it part of your way of life.”
I have always loved sport and staying healthy so 5 years ago I decided go about completing certifications with ITEC through Litton Lane Training in many aspects of health and fitness including Personal Training and Gym Instructor amongst others.
I am a regular gym goer myself and have a passion for health and fitness and sport in general. I have played League of Ireland with Cork City and Cobh Ramblers and I am still actively playing with Avondale United (despite me pushing on in years!) With Avondale I have won 5 FAI Intermediate Cups, 6 Munster Senior Leagues amongst a host of other local cups. I also represented Ireland in the World Student Games in Turkey in 2005.
Since joining the team at F1T in March 2014 I have learnt so much and have gathered a wealth of knowledge. I discovered that there is many ways to train and how nutrition also plays a major role in feeling healthier. I have learnt something different from each and every trainer and constantly pick their brains from more information, I hope they and the F1T clients have learned something from me too.
I do my best to bring as much of my energy to the gym as possible and I love training people in P.T. and Classes. I feel it is important to enjoy your training and to make it part of your way of life.
I understand the focus, hard work and dedication it takes to achieve goals. I look forward to continuing to bring those values into my training of Classes and Personal Training to help people achieve their goals at F.1.T. and teach people to live healthier lives.
