Trainer Tips (Sean)

WATCH YOUR WEEKENDS

👀

One of the most common factors I have  encountered from my years of Personal Training, is people ruining their own progress by having blow out weekends time after time .

Be real with yourself. If you’re serious about changing your body, you need to be consistent for a steady period of time (ie. 6-8 weeks) to make any notable changes.

Just think of it in steps ;
Count every meal as 1 step forward …

Count each training session as 5 steps forward …

To then go out at the weekend and bate back the pints or the wine, or to indulge in a big influx of empty calories (takeaway/junk) means any progress made though out the week is slowed or else stopped as these are massive steps backwards.

Ask yourself; Would you go to work without getting paid?!

It’s the same thing in the gym.

Working your ass off Monday to Friday and then you’re back to square one to rinse and repeat .
This is madness! 😂

I’m not saying you need to live like a monk for the rest of your life, but give yourself a time frame to work with such as 6-8 weeks of really sticking to it – imagine the difference that could be made!

Once your head is in the right place everything else will fall into place.
So set yourself a time frame and get cracking…

Rome wasn’t built in a day but they were laying blocks everyday 😎
